Information Technology Officer I

Job description:·

Coordinates the development, implementation, integration of all GIS related systems;
Administers and maintains GGRDD SQL database architecture;
Evaluates IT systems to determine the adequacy of current processes to meet specifications, requirements and user needs;
Drives continuous improvement through data analytics, research, testing and prototyping, as well as analysis of user behavior, online traffic, and business results, related to the Geomatics Section.

Must have a basic understanding of the current version of the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems (Basic to Advanced). 
Demonstrates ability to learn specific computer applications and coding languages necessary for the required solution in GGRDD (Intermediate to Advanced).
Knowledgeable in relational databases, structural query language (SQL), web programming, open source software and Python (Intemediate to Superior).
