Emergency investigations:
July 12, 1991
- Ocular and instrumental investigations were conducted to verify
report of alleged volcanic activity. Result of the investigation
showed no sign of unusual volcanic activity such as intense
fumarolic activity, felt earthquakes, fissuring at the volcano’s
slopes and smell of sulfur odor.
July 10, 1993
- Result of aerial survey conducted at the volcano on July 10, 1993
revealed the absence of any visually observable volcano-related
activity which may suggest volcanic unrest.
